The tastes and smells of a continental market are coming to Helston next week at a traditional European food and craft fair.
Between 9am and 5pm on Saturday, June 8 Coinagehall Street will be given over to market stalls from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland and Poland.
They will be selling products including Brittany biscuits, olives, Italian nougat, cheeses and sausages, bread, croissants, crepes, handbags, leather items, Marseille soaps, lavender, children’s toys and pashminas.
Although the market has visited Helston on a number of occasions before, sited in Meneage Street, this year organisers promise to make it even bigger, with the move to Coinagehall Street and some new stalls.
These will include a large range of Dutch flowers, some Finnish crafts and clothes, Italian deli goods and Morrocan crafts.
