Pupils from St Francis School decided to go Greek for somes sports fun last week.
Pupils dressed in togas, with the addition of some waterproofs and warm jumpers to guard against the cold, and took to the school playing field for some traditional sports from ancient Greece.
While spears were replaced by foam javelins and the wrestling by some wheel barrow races, there was something for everyone, until the rain fell, causing a race for shelter.
