BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: The congregation on Trinity Sunday appreciated the service taken by Mr Wills of Crowlas. His service was based on three simple words, “For”, “With” and “In”.
On Sunday the service was led by the Rev Philip Williams of Newlyn whose chose faith as the subject for his service. Accompanist was Jill Warden and the flowers were given and arranged by Helen Salter.
Thank you to all who supported the waste paper collection and coffee morning on Saturday.
ASHTON CHURCH: A service of holy communion was held to celebrate the visit of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Elizabeth on Friday. The celebrant was Canon Michael, the epistle was read by Bevan Osborne, Canon Michael read the gospel and sidesman was Malcolm Hersee.
There will not be a monthly service of holy communion on Friday. Evensong will be at 6pm on Sunday.
