Wendron Rambuck Fair has been a staple of the community’s calendar for more than 100 years and Saturday’s event proved as popular as ever.
The fantastic summer weather drew the spectators and competitors. Originally a sheep fair, the event is now a comprehensive horse show and gymkhana offering something for everyone.
As well as the more serious horse events, there was also a fancy dress class and dog show which attracted pooches of all sizes.
Jakie Jewell, one of the show’s two secretaries, said: “We had a fantastic show at Wendron on Saturday with bumper entries and clear blue skies all day long. Couldn't have asked for much more.”
