The fourth and last points competition of the season was judged by Roy McBride (Truro) who gave a detailed analysis of each entry and gave helpful advice on presentation.

In the general prints section, a study of early morning on Penryn River gave Kevin Moore a well-deserved first placing with his atmospheric entry. The set subject section's interpretation proved difficult, but leading the field was David Buckby's "Just Steam". Projected images maintained the high standard with Paul Young's set subject of The Docks securing top honours. "Zippy Colours" entered by Sue Hutchings proved a winner in the general section with its vibrant and pin-sharp colours.

On Thursday president Alan Cox will entertain with a collection of slides, a medium eclipsed by the digital age, but nevertheless regarded as "the tops" by the ever-faithful.
