Permission has been granted for Helston estate agency The Mather Partnership to relocate further up the street to a bigger office.
Owner Peter Courtis has been granted conditional permission for change of use of the ground and first floor of the former Clarks shoe shop in Meneage Street into an estate agency.
This is to allow his business, currently based further down the same street, to expand.
Mr Courtis took over the business three years ago and has employed three more people, taking the total to six.
In his application to Cornwall Council, Mr Courtis wrote that should the application be successful that number of full time staff would immediately increase to nine.
He added: “I am pleased to say that we have grown the business to such a level that to now maintain and both improve upon our business service levels we need to be looking to move to larger premises in the town.”
