Efforts to beautify Glasney valley were almost flushed away on Monday after a sewage pipe burst and raw sewage poured out across a footpath.
The following day, a South West Water spokesperson said: “We were alerted to a burst sewer in the Glasney valley. We dispatched a team to investigate but they were unable to locate the burst.
Adding the location was found and a crew sent to repair it and clear up.”
