A new bridleway linking Porthleven and the Penrose estate will soon be completed.
Work on the route, which runs inland through Higher Penrose Farm and provides the option of a circular route link back through the woods at Bar Drive, has been taking place over the last six weeks.
It has included improving surfacing on existing historical tracks, fencing to create new sections and adding appropriate gates along the route where it crosses farm access tracks. The National Trust has thanked the Wallis family, the trust farm tenants, for their support and Darren Searle of Countryside Contracting Ltd for carrying out the work.
