THE Taylor's Tyres Carn Brea five-a-side league saw the Tuesday league thrown open at the summit due to Fryer's rich vein of form, defeating unbeaten leaders Redruth United 4-1 after earlier beating Booters 10-1.
Camborne Cricket Club are still in the hunt after a 7-0 win against Grid's FC and a 3-1 victory over Dicko's Rockets. Redruth United outclassed The Blues 8-0 and the latter lost 3-1 to Booters.
On December 19 the Tuesday league saw its first return fixture night with Redruth United bang in form with two victories against Booters 11-1 and 8-0. Carn Marth outclassed Victoria Inn ( Four Lanes) 8-0 twice. Trevu overcame Jolly's 4-3 and 5-3. Camborne Cricket Club beat Untouchables 4-3 and then had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the return.
In the cup, group two saw a walkover for both Redruth United and Capio Cornwall and in group three Penmarth and Star Inn Vogue went through.
