THE Whirlwind Sports Falmouth-Helston League's final Saturday of the year ended in disruption as the weather did its best to wipe out all the football.
One of the games to go ahead was Porthleven's division one match with Mawnan which the Fishermen won 3-1 after going a go down.
Chris Pellow put the visitors in front, but in the final minute of the half Port equalised through Ashley Stidwell Ten minutes into the second half the home side had established a 3-1 lead with goals from Danny Williams and Steve Williams which they held to extend their lead at the top to a health 11 points.
Hayle drew 4-4 with Holmans and goals from Lee Major, Jamie Robinson and an own goal helped Mousehole to a 3-1 win against Trispen.
Stithians got the better of Lizard Argyle with goals from Treve Bale and Matt McIlroy setting up a 2-1 win.
In division two league leaders Mawnan Res were held to a 1-1 draw by Constantine who led for much of he game with a goal by Cy Prynn. Rob Eccleston headed a late equaliser.
John Major and Terry Bryan scored for Rosudgeon in their 2-0 win against Perranwell and Marazion drew 3-3 with Wendron after snapping up goals through Matt Gendall, Tom Dann, and Andy Withers.
Chris Gardener and an own goal were Camborne Park's goalscorers in their 2-1 win against Carharrack Res in dvision three.
