Crews from Truro, Falmouth and Helston were called to a 'large' property fire at Old Kea, Truro in the early hours of this morning.
The firefighters used a main jet and hose reel at the home measuring approximately 20 metres by eight metres, at 12.33am.
The water carrier from Helston and support vehicles from St Just, St Dennis and Falmouth also attended.
By 12.44am the incident was scaled up, with six pumping appliance at the scene, including crews from Perranporth and Camborne.
By 5.12am two appliances remained damping down.
A fire service spokesman said The property had been severely damaged by the fire. A fire investigation was set to be carried out this morning.
