On Sunday the Rev Stephen Tudgey celebrated holy communion at 8.30am. The service of sung eucharist followed at 10.30am.
Mr Tudgey was the celebrant and lessons were read by Michael White and Sue Mclaughlin. The choir sang Parry's "Dear Lord and Master of Mankind" for the anthem.
This was followed at 6pm by sung evensong with Mr Tudgey officiating and lessons were read by Barbara Martin and Mary Wey. The anthem sung by the choir was "If Ye Love Me" by Tallis. Michael Hoeg was the organist at both services.
Events this week: Thursday, 9.30am, Charlie's Angels, Church Hall; 10.30am, holy communion; 11.15am, prayer group; 7pm, A concert given by the Cornwall Youth Choir, tickets are £5 (under 18s free). Sunday, 8.30am, holy communion; 10.30am, celebrationary Choral Matins service, The Record, (the result of three years work by FDFAS Heritage Volunteers at KCM); 11.30am, refreshments, Church Hall - to learn more about this impressive recording project; 6pm, sung evensong.
