Youngsters in Gunwalloe were given a Christmas treat when Father Christmas dropped in at a party organised for them.
About 36 village children and their friends attended the party at the village hall, which was organised by the children's committee of the village hall.
Joanne Pearce, a committee member, said: "It went really well - we had a really good time."
There were party games organised by one of the mothers, Maria Hocking, followed by dancing and the visit from Santa, who handed out presents to the youngsters.
The party was then joined by the adult residents of the village, who sang carols.
Mrs Pearce thanked Mrs Hocking for organising the games and also resident Debbie Pollard who helped with every activity that was held in the run up to the event to raise money for the party.
