The case againt Perranwell farmer Phillip Warwick Pryor, age 48, of Perranwell Station, has been discontinued.
Mr Pryor had denied a charge criminal damage to property and one charge of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal after shooting a Rottweiler dog named Fizz valued at £3,000 belonging to Marcus Cole in April last year.
His two-day trial was set to begin on February 17 at Truro Magistrates’ Court.
The Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against farmer Phillip Warwick Pryor at Truro Magistrates’ Court and two charges against him were dismissed.
