Police are appealing for information after a mother and child left 'very shaken' after drunk stranger lunged in for kiss in Redruth
Between 8pm and 8.25pm on Thursday, February 6, a twenty-year old mother and her two-year-old daughter were assaulted by a man at Alma Place, Redruth near to the railway over bridge.
The woman and child were walking together when the man, who was thought to be intoxicated, approached them and tried to kiss the woman.
The woman and child were left very shaken by the incident although not physically injured.
The man is described as being in his late 40’s or early 50’s, short and with a stocky build. He was wearing a dark padded jacket with a collar.
Police want to trace any witnesses to this incident, in particular a blonde female who was driving a blue car who stopped to assist. Please contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 quoting the reference AC/14/567.
