A fundraising event at The Atlantic Inn in Porthleven has made over £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
The event raised £1,056 on the evening of February 8, with more donations still coming in over the following week.
It was hosted by the pub’s proprietors Leigh and Adrian Santi and organised by the Kelynack family, mother Maria and daughters Paula, who works for the charity in Helston, and Sandra, who lost their father to a heart attack.
Leigh said: “It went really, really well, everyone had a fantastic evening.
“We had bingo, a raffle, and a disco where people paid for their songs, and Sandra’s husband Russell dressed as Hearty, the British Heart Foundation mascot.
