Falmouth Town Council is looking into leasing a part of the toilet block at the resort’s main beach to the Gyllyngvase Surf Life Saving Club to be used as storage space.
The council will be taking over control of the town’s public toilets from Cornwall Council this spring and plans have been drawn up to sub-divide the ones at Gyllyngvase and sub-lease them to the surf life saving club.
