President, Mrs G Bradford, welcomed members to the monthly business meeting on Friday.
In preparation for the AGM in March, the bye-laws were read by the secretary. The treasurer gave her report and members were informed of forthcoming events, as advertised in the County News.
Mrs B Ross gave a vote of thanks to all those who had worked so hard over the last few months, aiding the transition of the WI from the hall in Webber Street to the new meeting place, the Methodist Hall on the Moor.
Meetings are held here at 2.30pm every Friday. On February 21 the WI will be celebrating its 96th birthday with a booked luncheon at the Falmouth Hotel.
On February 28, it will be Maureen’s music and poetry afternoon when new members will be welcomed.
