Sunday's service for the third Sunday before Lent was taken by the Rev John Fox on a beautiful sunny Spring day.
The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Yvonne Bellinger and the second lesson by Maureen Williams. Andrew Woods was the organist. To show support for those who suffered as a result of recent events in Porthleven Harbour due to the bad weather, there was a retiring collection for the Fishermen's Association and there will be another this Sunday.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with the Rev Len Jepp as celebrant) and Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with the Rev David Stephens as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
With Lent approaching, please return last year's Palm Crosses so that they can be used to make ashes for Ash Wednesday on March 5.
