Following a UK wide search, M&S has selected Cornish artist Paul Wadsworth to support the launch of its spring collection.
The retailer has focused on five of Wadsworth’s stunning landscape paintings of Porthmeor beach in St Ives, using the images across its store windows, including in the Hayle, Falmouth and Truro stores as well as for online marketing and the front cover of the M&S customer magazine.
The five original oil paintings have been hung in the windows of M&S’ flagship store in London’s Oxford Street, with canvas reproductions of the paintings being featured in over 300 M&S stores across the country.
Wadsworth has painted in Cornwall for over 20 years, continually exploring in paint and expression.
Paintings by Paul Wadsworth are now on show at Marks & Spencer stores. A video describing the inspiration behind Paul’s work is available to view on M&S TV.
