David Corker, of Feadon House in Penance Road, Falmouth, has been electronically tagged after being found guilty of making calls to police 999 operators that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.
Corker, 26, was made the subject of a community order by magistrates at Truro on Monday and must remain under curfew, three days a week for 12 weeks.
He must be at home between 10pm and 8am on Fridays, 7pm and 8am on Saturdays and 7pm and 6am on Sundays. Electronic monitoring equipment will be used to ensure Corker complies with the curfew.
In addition, magistrates made a 12 month drinking banning order which states Corker is not to be under the influence of alcohol in any public place. Magistrates also ordered Corker to pay £60 victim surcharge and £170 prosecution costs.
