The four members of Falmouth Town Council who also sit on Cornwall Council have outlined how they had spent their community chest money.
David Saunby has made a donation to the Cop Car Project run by the local police and is paying for a picnic table for the Trescobeas play area in memory of Les Cox, a former Falmouth Docks worker who died while in holiday in Majorca last year.
Alan Jewell has also paid for concrete picnic table for a play area and given donations to Pendennis Brass, Falmouth Surf Life Saving Club and the 4X track near Maenporth.
Candy Atherton put all her allowance towards paying for seagull proof sacks for all residents in the Smithick ward and Geoffrey Evans made contributions towards making Falmouth a Dementia Friendly Community, to the Samaritans and to the charity, Emmaus UK.
