On Sunday the Rev Stephen Tudgey celebrated holy communion at 8.30am. At 10.30am we held a family communion service in the church hall, Mr Tudgey was the celebrant, the gospel reading was given by Jan Winslade and the piano was played by Michael Hoeg. After which everyone enjoyed refreshments.
This was followed at 6pm by sung evensong with Mr Tudgey officiating. Lessons were read by John Pyatt and Alison Tudgey, Michael Hoeg was the organist and ended the service with H Howells' Psalm Prelude Set one, number two. Events this week: Thursday, 9.30am, Charlie's Angels, church hall; 10.30am, holy communion; 11.15am, Prayer Group; Evening, Wine Tasting Event "Surfing The Vine - The Comeback Kids" hosted by Wine In Cornwall, with music, raffle and refreshments, to be held in our Church Hall. Please note tickets can be purchased at £7.50 each from The Cornish Store, Arwenack Street, or at the Hall door. Sunday, 8.30am, holy communion; 10.30am, a service of sung eucharist followed by refreshments in the church hall; 6pm, sung evensong.
