Sunday's service for the second Sunday before Lent was taken by the Rev David Stephens. The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Colin Wroe, the second lesson by Francoise Ziemann and Andrew Woods was the organist.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with the Rev Lesley Walker, Rural Dean, as celebrant), Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with the Rev Samuel Marsden as celebrant) and 6pm (evensong and sermon with the Rev Judy Harris as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
Ash Wednesday is fast approaching so members of the congregation are asked to return last year's Palm Crosses so that they can be used to make this year's ashes.
The St Bart's Ash Wednesday (March 5) service will be at 7pm (holy eucharist with hymns, blessing and imposition of Ashes with the Rev Judy Harris as celebrant)
