METHODIST CHURCH: Friends from Mullion Methodist Church joined with Cury for the holy communion united service on Sunday morning, led by the Rev Beverley Turner. The offering was collected by Christopher and Josie Trounson; flowers were provided by Freda Lane and accompanist was Sybil Benney. On Sunday the family service will be led by Sarah Fuller at 11am - all welcome.
VILLAGE HALL: On Thursday cash prize bingo returns after a break - eyes down at 7.30pm. The annual meeting will take place on Thursday, March 13 at 7.30pm. This meeting is open to the public. If you would like to become a committee member please send your name, address and contact number to the chairman, Mr P Greet, 4 Trelawney Terrace, White Cross, Cury TR12 7BG before Monday, March 10.
A Table Top Sale will be held in the hall on Saturday, March 22, 2–4pm. All proceeds for St Keverne Choir. Contact Jenny on 01326241946 for further details.
CURY WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: On Thursday, March 6 the speaker at the monthly meeting will be Peter Bicknell on the life and times of Richard Trevithick. The competition is a picture or photo of a steam train/train.
New members always welcome. We meet each month (except January) at 7.15pm in the village hall.
