The family of a toddler tragically killed in Tintagel have paid tribute to a "beautiful daughter"
Hr family said: "Holly, our two-year-old daughter who would have been three in April, sadly lost the fight for her life on Tuesday, February 25 having been involved in a collision with a vehicle in Tintagel around midday whilst her sister took her and baby sister to the shops.
"We still cannot believe our beautiful daughter has been taken from us and as a family are still in shock. We would like to thank those who rushed to help Holly and the emergency services who fought to save her life, sadly to no avail.
"Tintagel is a small community and we have been overwhelmed with the flowers and wishes left at the scene. Rest-in-peace our little girl, you will be missed greatly by all of your family."
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and in particular anyone who was walking or driving in the area at the time who can recollect seeing a young woman walking with a pushchair accompanied by a small toddler.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting police reference 280 of 25/02/14.
