The Watering Hole in Perranporth is bracing for the next bout of huge waves and high tides expected over the weekend and into Monday.
The popular bar was left high but thankfully dry after recent huge waves and high tides scoured away sand, however with the wind expected to be from the NW, it remains in a "vulnerable position".
Workers have been shoring up defences with diggers shifting tonnes of sand in a bid to protect the pub.
Manager Tom Job told the BBC: "We are in a very vulnerable position."
"We have had diggers and dump trucks going continuously as we have got really high tides through the weekend.
"But Monday is going to be bad. We have got two or three days to prepare for that one.
"It's fingers crossed about what we are going to see."
"But this is the first time we have had a north westerly wind which is something we are quite worried about," said Mr Job.
"There's nothing else we can do.
"We are going to put in everything we can find and hopefully it will hold us together for the next few days."
The forecast, via the gurus at Magic Seaweed is for an up to 21ft swell at 19 seconds with strong NW winds. High tides are at 6.23am and 6.43pm.
