Two apprentices working at a Falmouth care home are looking at a brighter future after gaining their level two diplomas in health and social care.
Dan Watson, 22, who was a student at Falmouth School, and Daisy Allen, 20, who was at Truro School, have spent a year working with people with learning disabilities at the Falcare centre on Kimberley Park Road.
Dan, who eventually hopes to work in nursing, said: “I like the people we work with; there are so many different types here, all personalities.”
Daisy added: “It’s so different, you get to know what people like and what they don’t.”
One of the clients, David Willoughby, said: “They’re gems, such fun. We really have a laugh.”
