Young Pony Club members showed their sporting prowess on Saturday when they took part in the annual Cury Hunt Triathlon.
Held as usual at Helston Sports Centre and the hall of the adjoining community college, the event saw young people travelling from as far as Eggesford in mid Devon to take part.
They were challenged on three specialisms: shooting, swimming and finally running.
Georgia Prowse, who helped organise the event, said: “We had a great day, with a good level of entries throughout all classes.
“The weather was kind - just a strong wind. Everyone was very happy with the way the whole event ran.”
After a morning of strong competition, trophies were presented to the top placed competitors by Serita Perkins.
