Helston and St Keverne Young Farmers’ Club has rearranged its annual dung run for this weekend.
The event was cancelled due to the stormy weather, with members worried that their advertising signs would blow away, causing a potential safety hazard.
Instead, bags will be for sale on Saturday, March 8. Pre-orders for the dung, which can be used as fertiliser in the garden, can be made by calling Bethany Tremayne on 07794 038655 or Hannah Smith on 07792 645575.
The club members were bagging the dung up last week and there was a very good turnout, with at least 20 members turning up to make short work of the task.
Pasties and refreshments were provided for the members and there was a happy atmosphere as they worked to bag the dung in one evening.
