The morning service was conducted by David Balme from Porthleven and organist was John Gilbert. William Dale, vestry steward, warmly welcomed David and read the notices.
The theme throughout the service was water, being a very relevant topic at the moment. David chose three lessons, the first of which was read by Crete Pooley, the second by Quintin Dale and the third one he read himself. Jean James welcomed the congregation.
After the service a faith lunch was held, the proceeds of which will be divided between Christian Aid and the Bible Society for new bibles in China.
Our spring bazaar will be held on Saturday, March 29 to be opened at 3pm by Dr Ian Wort with cream teas being served throughout.
