The death of David Breacker, a former mayor of Falmouth, was announced at a meeting of the town council on Monday.

Mr Breacker had held office from 1998 to 99 and again from 1999 to 2000. He had left the town council in 2003.

There will be a funeral service at Angoves Funeral Directors on Monday at 2pm, followed by interment at 2.30. and afternoon tea at Falmouth council offices.
