Police investigating the death of a man who washed up naked on Perranporth Beach say there has been a fantastic response from the public following the release of the artist’s impression on Tuesday.
Officer say over 50 calls have been made to police so far from local, national and international callers, as well as information given via the force's Facebook and Twitter accounts.
As a result detectives are following up a number of lines of enquiry.
DCI Dave Thorne said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the public reaction to this case and we would like to thank everyone who has got in touch so far.
“We continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.”
Anyone with any information that could assist with the investigation is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 381 of 1 March, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
