Helston 'Knitting Flora Day' project takes shape
Helston Museum is well and truly getting down to the “knitty” gritty of preparing for Flora Day now, with their knitting project coming on apace.
The Knit Flora Day idea is really beginning to take shape, with dancers from the morning, children's and midday dances all now making appearance - together with a member of Helston Town Band.
These pictures show just a selection of what has been created so far and knitting needles will be click clacking right up to May 8 to make a proper Flora Day scene, all in wool.
This will then be on display during the week of Flora Day, as part of a wider celebration of the day.
