A manis in a serious condition in hospital after his car was involved in a collision with a bus on Killigrew Street in Falmouth on Monday morning.
A driver in his eighties, from Falmouth, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro following the crash, which occured at 11.40am between the junctions with Lister Hill and Trelawney Road.
Police, fire, and ambulance services were all called to the scene, and a female passenger in her seventies was also taken to hospital suffering with shock.
The car, a Falmouth registered silver Mitsubishi Colt, was in a collision with a single decker number 41A from First Bus.
A serious collision unit was called to the scene, and the entirety of Killigrew Street remained closed to traffic as of 1.30pm.
The driver's next of kin had been informed of the incident, and were with him in the hospital on Monday night.
Police said anyone with information should call 101 quoting log number 269 of 10/3/14.
