Sunday's service for the first Sunday of Lent was taken by the Rev Judy Harris. The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Andrew Woods who was also the organist.
The second lesson was read by Maggie Higgins. This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with the Rev Len Jepp as celebrant) and Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with the Rev James Vincent as celebrant).
The Stations of the Cross service will be on Wednesday from 6.30-7pm. Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
The Lent ecumenical group will meet in Lady Chapel on Thursday at 2.30 and the theme will be 'the world of St Paul'.
Thanks to all who supported the recent coffee morning which raised £128.60 for church funds.
The Lent project this year is (the Farming Community Network) and envelopes for Lent savings are available in church.
The revision of the electoral roll began on March 5. Anyone wishing to add their name to it is asked to complete a form which is available from Beryl Dinham.
