A chance to break into the interactive media industry - or for those in employment to enhance their specialist skills - has come from the Let's ProfIT project, part of Cornwall Enterprise.
A 15-week, media-based course developed by Cornwall College, Camborne, is funded through European Social Fund/Objective 1 and the Learning and skills council and will be held at the college from February to August.
It will cover digital graphics, web authoring and interactive multimedia concepts, with the £300 cost totally refundable plus a £500 incentive payment to successful candidates.
"This is a valuable qualification which has been expressly designed as a route into the exciting and rewarding interactive media industry or for further development of skills in a wide range of job roles within the industry," said Matt Barrett, project manager.
