Falmouth Royal Naval Association will be presented with the freedom of Falmouth on the Moor on March 15.
Following the St Nazaire memorial service on the Prince of Wales Pier, the group will parade to the Moor for the presentation, before marching through the town to take the salute at King Charles the Martyr parish church.
It is the first branch of the RNA to be awarded the freedom of a town, after the local branch of the Royal British Legion was disbanded.
