A home was evacuated this morning at Zelah after a lorry carrying liquid petroleum gas brought down an 11,000 volt cable in a crash.
Crews were called out just before noon today with both appliances from Truro mobilised.
When the firefighters arrived they found the LPG Tanker "had been in a collision which involved an 11,000 volt cable".
No-one was trapped, a nearby house was evacuated and crews stood by awaiting the arrival of Western Power.
By 12.45pm the power to the cables involved, the area surrounding area has been declared safe and the tanker had been removed from the scene.
Western power has apologised for any loss of power to homes, with a spokesman saying most supplies are now back on, and staff are working to restore the remaining properties by approximately 4pm.
Henver Lane has reopened to traffic.
