Cornish Pisky Pals in Coverack may only have little legs but they are stretching them far – all the way to their nearest town of Helston.
Alongside the Helston Business Improvement Partnership, the company behind the miniature models has been working with shops and businesses to organise a pisky trail in Helston.
Around 40 businesses have already agreed to host a pisky and any others interested in being part of the trail can still get in touch, with more planned for May and the summer.
The first Helston Pisky Trail, however, will run from Thursday, April 3 until Tuesday, April 8. Trails will be available from Baxxy’s Craft Corners, in the basement of Fruit & Veg 4 U in Meneage Street.
The trails cost £2, giving families directions to explore Helston looking for the tiny piskies hiding in the various shops and businesses.
Each pisky stays where they are but they have their own name tag.
When the names of the piskies are written in order the first letters will spell out a mystery pisky phrase – something about the Cornish Pisky Pals that other people don’t know.
Completed trails can be returned to Baxxy’s Craft Corners where the participants will recieve a Cornish sticker and entry into the prize draw.
Caroline Beadle, of Cornish Pisky Pals, said: “One of the great things about a Cornish Pisky Pal Pisky Trail is that it gets people to explore; you have to look closely to find the Cornish Pisky Pals and then you might just see things that you hadn’t noticed before.”
