The Falmouth Bay Residents’ Association is lending its supports to the spring festival by organising a litter pick along the seafront on Saturday.
Volunteers will focus on clearing up litter along the coast path, beaches and gardens from Pendennis Point to Swanpool. They will meet at Gyllyyngvase Beach at 10am and then split into groups and go to a number of different areas to pick up litter for one hour before meeting back at the Gylly Beach Café where there will be free tea/coffee to all participants.
FBRA has invested in a number of mechanical litter-grabbers this year to help collect the litter and will be issuing these together with bin-bags to the volunteers. Anyone interested in helping should simply go along and join in.
