The choir, conducted by Terry Reid with accompanist Ruth Bray, were at Edgcumbe Chapel on Sunday evening.
We were fortunate once again to have guest soprano Savannah Hall who sang “Eriskay Love Lilt” and then duetted with choir tenor Neil Bolton in “Hallelujah”.
A highlight of the evening was the performance of “Men of Cornwall”, a medley of songs by Harry ‘Safari’ Glasson in a special arrangement commissioned by Alan Simmons for the choir.
Treverva welcomes new members in all sections. Practices take place on Mondays from 7.30-9.30pm at The Space, Penryn Rugby Club. If you want to see whether joining the choir is for you, why not come along? Just turn up or you can contact secretary, Ann Trudgen on 01326 210444 or email: ann.trevervachoir@hotmail.co.uk.
