A man arrested over the murder of charged with the murder Joan Roddam aged 74, has appeared in court charged with her murder in 2003.
Patrick Curran, 38, from West Down Road, Delabole, appeared at Bodmin Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody to reappear at Plymouth Crown Court on Thursday.
The body of Joan Roddam aged 74 years was found at the rear of her home at West Downs, Delabole during the evening of Saturday, November 8, 2003.
A post mortem examination revealed that she had died from asphyxiation.
The arrest followed a review by Cornwall’s Major Crime investigation Team.
