BALWEST METHODIST CHURCH: The church celebrated its 185th anniversary on Sunday. The service was conducted by the Superintendent Minister, the Rev Daniel Reed and the guest accompanist was Joan Hampton of Camborne. Joan Stevens arranged the beautiful flower displays in the chapel and the offertory for property funds was taken by Oliver and Joel Boston.
Following the service a beautiful lunch was held in the schoolroom, prepared and served by chapel members. Many friends from neighbouring chapels were welcomed to the service and lunch.
CHURCH: the third meeting in the Faith Matters series will be held on Monday at 7.30pm. To celebrate the feast of the Annunciation of Our Lord there will be a service of holy communion at 5pm.
