Arson blamed as large bonfire burned out of control near Threemilestone
Arson has been blamed for a large bonfire at Green Bottom, Threemilestone, last night.
Six firefighters from Truro attended a call to a large unattended bonfire on the side of the road between Greenbottom and Threemilestone just before midnight.
A Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that the bonfire measured four by four metres, with crews used two breathing apparatus with one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Adding: "The fire was arson and police attended the incident."
