Refurbished Falmouth gig to be dedicated to Ted Pentecost tomorrow
Falmouth Gig Club’s re-furbished gig Energy will be blessed and dedicated to the late Ted Pentecost, above, former president of the club, at the Watersports Centre at noon on Sunday.
A plaque will also be put up commemorating Ted’s role at the club and to the sport of gig rowing.
Members of his family along with representatives from the Pendennis Shipyard, who carried out the refit to Energy, will be attending the blessing and dedication.
