A pet pooch has been safely reunited with its owner after a tumble down a mine shaft near Leedstown.
Firefighters were called to Leedstown on Thursday after a report that a dog was trapped.
The rescue appliance from Camborne and an appliance from Penzance were mobilised to Calloose Lane, Leedstown at just after 4pm.
The crew found that a dog had fallen 20ft into a shaft.
The dog was successfully rescued, uninjured, using ladders, and reunited with its relieved owner.
