Overwhelmed with the generosity of everyone who attended Epworth Hall in Helston on Saturday, Kayleigh Chapman has deemed her fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support a success.
Kayleigh's friends and family were generous in making homemade cakes and sweet treats for a bake sale, and there was also a fabulous raffle with prizes kindly donated by local businesses.
These included a bonus hamper prize full of goodies donated by Kayleigh's Nan and her fellow fundraiser Pat Greet.
As well as these fundraising events, children were invited to come along and join in with numerous craft activities including designing and creating their own masks and mother's day cards to name a few.
An excellent prize of One 2 Eleven vouchers were up for grabs in the art competition and were won by lucky Jess Allen, aged 4, who had a clean sweep winning both the art completion and claiming the prize in the guess the amount of sweets in the jar game.
Kayleigh was incredibly pleased with the event, which raised a grand total of £190.40 for the charity.
“Macmillan is a cause close to mine and my families hearts as they were there to support my grandad during and towards the end of his battle with cancer” said Kayleigh.
“It was a pleasure to raise money for this worthy cause alongside my family members.”
