Gansters and molls were out in force for a fundraising evening at Epworth Hall in Helston.
The murder mystery event, organised by Sainsbury’s in Helston, raised £348 for the hall, with an extra £40 raised through photo sales of the guests in their finery.
Paula Julian, charity co-ordinator at Sainsbury’s, said: “It was an absolutely fabulous night, a lot of bribery and corruption. It was a great success and well supported by the town.”
There were lots of clues, and lots of prizes for those who guessed the murderer, for best dressed and best drama queen, and a mister moneybags prize for spending money on bribes and corruption.”
The night was so successful that Paula said another one is already being planned for later in the year.
