TWO of classical ballet’s finest international stars are coming to the Hall For Cornwall for an evening of dance with Duchy Ballet.
Arionel Vargas along with his wife and dance partner Roberta Marquez will be performing a special selection of pieces in Duchy Ballet’s production of The Mousehole Cat and Other Ballets at the Hall For Cornwall, Truro.
Cuban born Arionel trained at the National Ballet School of Cuba. He joined English National Ballet in 2004 where he is now a Principal and has performed extensively both in the UK and across the globe.
His wife, Roberta, was born in Rio De Janeiro and joined the Royal Ballet in London as a Principal ten years ago and has been wowing audiences since 1904 Kay Jones, artistic director of Duchy Ballet said: “We are thrilled that Arionel and Roberta accepted our invitation to perform at this year’s performance.
“They are truly awe inspiring to watch and to bring these two world class dancers to The Hall For Cornwall stage is an absolute pleasure.”
Duchy Ballet will be performing The Mousehole Cat and other ballets on Friday March 28 and Saturday March 29 at the Hall for Cornwall, Truro.
